Scrappy Challenge 5/26

Postby scrappydeb on Tue May 26, 2009 6:36 am

Since the school year is winding down, I thought it would be a good time for a challenge based on a school or learning theme! So your challenge is to create a page on anything related to school, education, or learning - I know not everyone has school-aged kiddos, so you could do a page on "life lessons", a page about YOUR school days, etc. As long as it relates to education!

In addition, your page should meet the following criteria:
- have at least three metal elements (brads, eyelets, clips, etc)
- use patterned paper from at least two manufacturers
- include at least one circle element

Here is my page, making the grade. I have 6 brads, and patterned paper from Scrap Within Reach and We R Memory Keepers.

Upload your page and link it to this thread by midnight on Monday June 8 for an entry into the June prize drawing! :D

So cute. I hope I can find some time to work on some of these challenges and sketches.

Great challenge! And AWESOME example!

This is perfect for me! I've been catching up on my kids' school albums and still need to do their "First Day" pics from this year. :)

Great challenge Deb. I love your layout - such great colours.

I've got some photos of a school trip to do and I haven't scrapped the first day photos either.

Here is mine. I have a ton of end of the year pics but haven't printed them, so this is Austin making his valentines for school.

I used 3 dif pp manuf. - Dream Street, BG, Daisy D's
3 metal flower brads
circles along along the bottom
